IPSIP Vietnam attends HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026, expanding Vietnam - Korea business and technology connections
On August 27, 2026, representatives of IPSIP Vietnam attended HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026 - Vietnam–Korea Market Connection and Trade Promotion Day 2026 - at White Palace Hoang Van Thu in Ho Chi Minh City.
The event offered more than an opportunity to discover new products and solutions from South Korea. It also created a space for IPSIP Vietnam to meet directly with businesses interested in the Vietnamese market and learn about their development strategies, technology requirements, and potential opportunities for future collaboration.

During the event, IPSIP Vietnam connected with businesses from various industries, including Dailyste, CROSSHUB, AutoSafer, Bannerting, and Jably. Through these discussions, needs relating to cybersecurity for small and medium-sized businesses, IT infrastructure, and technology resources became increasingly apparent as South Korean companies explored opportunities to expand into Vietnam.
HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026: Technology takes center stage in Vietnam–Korea connections
HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026 took place from August 27 to 29, 2026. It was jointly organized by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Jeonbuk Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (JBCCEI), the Saigon Innovation Hub (SIHUB), and other relevant organizations.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, this year’s event brought together nearly 200 businesses and organizations from 18 key industrial cities across South Korea.
Alongside Lifestyle, Beauty, and Food products, technology emerged as one of the exhibition’s most prominent areas. The technology and AI section accounted for more than 40% of all booths, becoming the event’s largest industry category for the first time in its five-year history.
This shift reflects how Vietnam–Korea connections are gradually expanding beyond the trade of goods into technology, investment, innovation, and workforce development.
For IPSIP Vietnam, the event was also a valuable opportunity to engage with businesses developing digital products or planning to establish a long-term presence in Vietnam—activities in which IT infrastructure and information security will become increasingly important as operations scale.
IPSIP Vietnam proactively connects with South Korean businesses
While visiting the exhibition, IPSIP Vietnam proactively approached businesses from a range of industries rather than limiting its engagement to the cybersecurity sector.
In addition to introducing IPSIP Vietnam and its capabilities in delivering enterprise technology and cybersecurity solutions, the discussions explored each company’s business model, plans for entering the Vietnamese market, current approach to technology operations, and potential requirements that could arise during expansion.
Dailyste – Connecting with a beauty brand entering the Vietnamese market
Dailyste is a South Korean cosmetics and skincare company established in 2018 and headquartered in Daejeon. Its product portfolio includes facial masks, cleansers, serums, and ampoules.

During its meeting with IPSIP Vietnam, Dailyste introduced the products showcased at the exhibition and shared information about its current business activities. The company already exports products to the United States and is seeking importers and development opportunities in Vietnam.
One direction mentioned by Dailyste was the possibility of establishing an office in Vietnam in the future.
IPSIP also learned more about the brand’s online sales activities. The company currently distributes its products primarily through retail stores and its own website.
The two parties exchanged contact information and agreed to remain connected, particularly as Dailyste develops IT infrastructure or security requirements while establishing operations in Vietnam.
CROSSHUB – Blockchain, AI and digital identity management
One of the technology companies IPSIP met at the event was CROSSHUB, a DeepTech and Fintech startup founded in 2024.

According to the company’s presentation at its booth, CROSSHUB is developing a platform that combines Blockchain and AI to verify identities and integrate user information. The solution is designed for environments such as universities, where a single platform can support activities including check-in, payments, and information management.
During the discussion, IPSIP learned more about CROSSHUB’s plans to collaborate with universities in Vietnam and the measures currently used to protect its systems.
CROSSHUB expressed an interest in expanding its connections with Vietnamese universities, and both parties agreed to continue discussions should suitable collaboration opportunities arise.
For systems that process identities and user information, Identity and Access Management (IAM) becomes an essential control layer as the platform, user base, and number of integrations with other systems grow.
DeepTech and Fintech businesses must also consider the scalability, continuity, and security of their IT infrastructure for financial and Fintech operations.
AutoSafer – Technology for crowd density and spatial safety management
AutoSafer presented a technology solution designed to manage crowd density in heavily populated areas.

According to information shared with IPSIP Vietnam, the system uses cameras to analyze crowd density within specific areas such as streets, university campuses, or exhibition venues.
Beyond monitoring current conditions, the solution is designed to forecast crowd density over a forthcoming period, issue risk alerts, and help operators proactively select an appropriate response.
AutoSafer stated that the solution has already been deployed in several university and exhibition environments in South Korea.
IPSIP also asked about the information security measures currently used by AutoSafer. The company is working with a service provider in South Korea, leaving open the possibility of further discussions if the solution is developed or deployed in Vietnam.
For systems involving cameras, connected devices, and data analytics platforms, information security must be considered alongside operational functionality—especially when deployment takes place at scale or in public spaces.
Bannerting – An O2O platform connecting advertising and interaction data
At HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026, IPSIP also had the opportunity to learn about Bannerting, an advertising platform based on the O2O (Online-to-Offline) model.
According to the company’s introduction at the event, Bannerting helps brands increase their customer reach through online mapping environments. Users can interact with business content and submit information, generating data that helps companies monitor traffic and engagement effectiveness.
The solution has already been deployed in South Korea, and Bannerting is now seeking further opportunities in Vietnam.
IPSIP spoke with the company’s representatives about its operating model, explored the platform, and exchanged contact information to support future discussions.
As MarTech platforms collect and process growing volumes of interaction data, account management, access control, and data protection also become increasingly important as the system scales.
Jably – Opportunities from EdTech to IT Outsourcing
Another notable conversation at the event was with Jably, a platform that helps international students access study opportunities in South Korea by connecting them with universities.
According to the company, Jably has already established relationships with numerous South Korean universities and is working to expand its model into other markets.
Notably, a Jably representative said the company plans to establish an office in Vietnam and may require IT outsourcing services as its operations develop.
This presents a potential area of collaboration aligned with IPSIP’s capabilities. Through outsourced IT services, businesses can supplement their resources with IT specialists, Helpdesk support, infrastructure, Cloud, and other technical capabilities without immediately building a complete internal team during the initial stage.
The two parties exchanged contact information and left open the possibility of working together when Jably’s expansion plans in Vietnam become more concrete.
Beyond 5 companies: IPSIP Vietnam continues expanding its network at the exhibition
In addition to Dailyste, CROSSHUB, AutoSafer, Bannerting, and Jably, IPSIP Vietnam representatives spent time exploring products and speaking with many other businesses, startups, and organizations at HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026.
The exhibition’s diversity - from AI, DeepTech, Fintech, and smart solutions to Beauty, Lifestyle, Food, and service platforms - gave IPSIP a clearer understanding of the needs South Korean businesses may encounter at different stages of entering the Vietnamese market.
Not every business has an immediate need for cybersecurity when first entering a new market.
However, as operations begin to involve websites, applications, employee accounts, customer data, endpoints, Cloud systems, and partner integrations, cybersecurity and IT operations gradually become inseparable from business growth.
For foreign-invested companies establishing operations in Vietnam, designing Cloud infrastructure for FDI enterprises also requires a balance between deployment speed, scalability, system operations, and data governance requirements.
From trade promotion to long-term technology partnerships
HCMC K-Brand Expo is increasingly demonstrating a role that extends beyond a product exhibition.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the event attracted more than 600 South Korean startups and businesses, over 30,600 visitors, and more than 5,020 business connections across its four editions from 2022 to 2025.
In 2026, the program continued to expand its Global Business Matching activities, connecting investors, startups, universities, workforce development initiatives, and innovation ecosystems.
For IPSIP Vietnam, the value of attending the event therefore extended beyond the number of businesses met in a single day.
More importantly, it provided an opportunity to establish initial connections with companies exploring or preparing to enter the Vietnamese market.
These connections may develop into future collaboration based on each company’s practical needs—from IT resources, Cloud infrastructure, and system management to enterprise cybersecurity solutions.
Conclusion
Attending HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026 on August 27 gave IPSIP Vietnam direct access to an increasingly diverse ecosystem of South Korean businesses, technologies, and operating models.
From Dailyste in the Beauty sector and CROSSHUB’s Blockchain and AI solutions to AutoSafer’s Smart Safety technology, Bannerting’s O2O/MarTech platform, and Jably’s education platform and potential IT outsourcing needs, each meeting offered a different perspective on how South Korean companies are approaching the Vietnamese market.
More importantly, the discussions helped IPSIP better understand the practical needs of international businesses as they expand their operations: technology must not only be deployed quickly but also operated reliably, managed appropriately, and protected throughout every stage of growth.
Through HCMC K-Brand Expo 2026, IPSIP Vietnam continues to expand its network within the South Korean business community, explore long-term collaboration opportunities, and work toward becoming a trusted technology and cybersecurity partner for companies developing their operations in Vietnam.
Businesses planning to establish or expand their operations in Vietnam can contact IPSIP Vietnam to discuss suitable cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, Cloud, and IT resource requirements.
